Make Your Game Board Better

When you print your game board you should always use a paper that will not take away from game play. A thicker paper, photo paper or card stock would be best (if your printer can handle the paper). Your basic goal is to keep the paper from rolling. A better paper is likely to improve game play. However, there are other things you can do to make your game board better.

A good way to improve the board and make it last longer for future play is to mount it to cardboard, mat board, etc. Any smooth rigid surface you can glue the board to. This can give you a good game board to use for quite some time. When it gets old and/or damaged, just print another.

Try this. Find a piece of plexiglass/plastic that will cover the entire board when it's assembled. Simply cover the taped board with the plastic cover and play. Or find a frame with a plastic or glass (if using glass be very careful) front. Place the game board in the frame, lay the board on your table and begin playing. These two ideas allow you to change your boards out for other games.

There is no real "right" way to strengthen your game board. The whole idea is to get the board to stay together and lay flat so you can enjoy your game.
